Wonderland Crafts FLBB-179 Cat Joys Bag Charm Set, Bead Embroidery Kit on Faux Leather, Set of 3

Bead embroidery kit for a trio of cat-lover charms on faux leather, to clip onto a backpack, handbag or keys. The set has a smiling cream tabby face with ginger stripes and pink ears, a fully beaded pink paw print, and a fish skeleton in pearly white. Wonderland Crafts FLBB-179 comes with each piece cut to shape and the holes already punched, so every bead goes into a fixed place. There is no fabric, no hoop and nothing to frame.

Project notes
The three pieces work up differently, which keeps the project varied. The paw print is beaded edge to edge. The fish is a pattern of bead rows over its bones. On the cat face, the beads pick out the stripes, ears and nose, while the whiskers and smile are stitched lines on the bare faux leather. You bead each piece on the front, then join it to its back around the edge with a little batting inside. The charms come out soft and lightly padded.

Hung together from one clasp, the cat, its paw and its fish read as one little story on a bag.

Good for

• Anyone who shares their home with a cat
• A bead embroiderer who wants something to carry rather than frame
• A cheerful small project with three different techniques in one kit
