Project notes
Red, two greens and metallic gold carry the design. Silver-white beads go into the ears and grey onto the nose, and the whiskers and smile are stitched in white thread. The heart repeats the same red, green and gold in a geometric arrangement, so it reads as a matching piece rather than an extra. You bead each part on the front, then join it to its back around the edge with a little batting inside. This gives the cat and heart a soft, padded finish.

The gold beads catch the light as the charm moves. The warm red and green suit the winter holidays as well as everyday wear.
